Ta serija ilustracij je nastajala letos poleti, za mojo dušo. Interpretacija Male morske deklice, v katero sem vtkala tudi nekaj simbolike. Med drugim poleg sonca in škornjev, angela itd tudi barvo prinčevih las. Temni so, ko v globinah umira, svetli so, ko se med cvetjem od zaljubljenosti vžiga.

These illustrations are my personal reinterpretation of the classic story. I created them purely for the joy of experimenting — exploring composition, color, and character.
I also played with symbolism: for example, the prince’s hair changes with his fate — dark as he’s drowning, bright when he’s surrounded by flowers, and in the fire of love. In both scenes, he wears red boots — symbols of love, life, and the color of blood.
